Geller said it is "very likely" that the drugs are being sold on the side.
American provisions of medicines for the Afghan army have kept pace with the growth from 70,000 soldiers in 2008 to 147,000 today, said Col. Schuyler Geller, commander of a U.S. medical training advisory group for Afghan forces. "We are grateful to the men and women who served on the jury for their attention to the facts that led to the decisions they were asked to make during this difficult trial," Brown said.
Oregon State Police Superintendent Chris Brown said in a statement following the verdict that the bombing has forever changed the victims' families and the police forces that employed them.

Witnesses testified that Bruce Turnidge, who grew up in a farming family in the Willamette Valley but could not make a go of farming himself, wanted to live in a tent city with people who shared his political beliefs but couldn't get money to build an arms stockpile for a militia.
The men were convicted after prosecutors argued that the Turnidges had fantasies of building bombs, robbing banks and starting an anti-government militia. They hatched the bank robbery plan because they needed money to keep their struggling biodiesel company afloat, prosecutors said.
The defense also argued that Joshua Turnidge would not be revered in Cheap Ray Ban Sunglasses prison but rather reviled as a snitch for testifying against his father.
"No child should be left without a parent," defense attorney Steven Gorham said in his closing argument. "Not the survivors' children, not Joshua Turnidge's children."

Jail Sgt. Megan Gonzalez said Joshua Turnidge drew a swastika over a U.S. flag on a postcard that shows the jail facility and wrote other things including "pigs for sale!" "human rights?" and "gas chamber" on the card before trying to send it. The postcard was deemed a violation of policy.
Jail staff testified that the younger Turnidge made rude, "hateful" and disrespectful comments that resulted in him losing privileges, the Salem Statesman Journal reported.
Prosecutors portrayed Joshua Turnidge, 34, Discount Ray Ban Sunglasses as selfish and hostile to jail staff.
Witnesses testified that Bruce Turnidge, 59, had previously hatched detailed plans to kill people he didn't like and once fantasized about killing then-President Bill Clinton. Prosecutor Courtland Geyer told jurors that a death sentence would mean "safety from crimes that lurk inside the mind of Bruce Turnidge."
Prosecutors urged jurors to sentence the men to death to prevent them from endangering prison staff or preaching their hatred for authorities to young prisoners who will someday be released. As convicted cop killers, the Turnidges will be popular in prison, they said.
Both men have maintained their innocence. Father and son turned on each other in trial, each pointing the finger at the other for building and planting the bomb, which prosecutors said was part of a plan to rob the bank.

Oregon State Police Superintendent Chris Brown said in a statement following the verdict that the bombing has forever changed the victims' families and the police forces that employed them.

Jail staff testified that the younger Turnidge made rude, "hateful" and disrespectful comments that resulted in him losing privileges, the Salem Statesman Journal reported.

After 25 years, King is giving up his CNN throne！
He has estimated that he's conducted 50,000 interviews during his half-century-long broadcasting career. Maybe so. And maybe he should have stopped a couple thousand earlier. Tuesday's shooting happened about a block from where a 22-year-old man was shot execution-style in January as he ate lunch at a restaurant. Police believe that case was gang-related but it remains unsolved.

Detectives say they believe Mitchell was involved in the shooting but cannot say whether he was responsible for firing the shots that killed Nelson or Barksdale. He faces charges of assault with a deadly weapon and parole violation.
The sheriff's department identified its first suspect as 24-year-old Lonnie Orlando Mitchell of Sacramento and Discount Ray Ban Sunglasses warned residents to consider him armed and dangerous.
A number of homicides have occurred in south Sacramento, the site of Tuesday's shooting, but there is no known history of violence at the barber shop, Curran said. Authorities were still investigating the crime Wednesday, and said they had no motive for it.

House votes again to lift restrictions on gay！

Pentagon press secretary Geoff Morrell said in a statement after the House vote that Defense Secretary Robert Gates encourages the Senate to lift the ban and thus enable the Defense Department "to carefully and responsibly manage a change in this policy instead of risking an abrupt change resulting from a decision in the courts."
